Today is BOOK REVIEW! My favorite posts to write although it's been a while! I intended to do a Summer Book Review at the beginning of September but then this month FLEW by! Anyone else feel the same way? School starts and we are off and running! So, I am excited to share some recent reads with you today!
It's been raining here for 3 days and I LOVE IT! A rainy day, cup of coffee, and a good book is my HAPPY PLACE! #bringonfall
AND it's Thursday, which is Friday Eve, so that means the weekend is almost here! #andallthetiredmamassaidamen
LOVED! I am a Liane Moriarty fan! This was the first book I read of hers and my goodness, it is good! The Husband's Secret has some romance, some suspense, and you won't want to put it down. It is a funny light read you'll enjoy!
I'm a little behind in reading this one because the movie is already out! #readerfail
I had it on my "Books to Read" list and kept picking up other books before this one. I finally decided I better read it this summer so I could watch the movie. I really enjoyed both! The book was addicting! I mean, it's full of suspense. It will give you chills reading it.
A Hundred Summers by Beatriz Williams was definitely a favorite book of the summer! I COULD NOT put it down! It takes place in Rhode Island before World War II. I fell in love with the characters right away and really enjoyed the storyline in that time period. It is about love, heartbreak, and friendship. Read this one, you won't regret it!
Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan was one of the sweetest books I've read! Polly decides to move to the English coast fleeing a broken relationship and throws herself into her favorite hobby, baking. She meets some very interesting characters and discovers a new life where she least expected. A precious book that will not disappoint!
I highly recommend this one! If you need a book to make you laugh, THIS. IS. IT. Lucy and Joshua will keep you laughing through their exchanges of pure hatred of one another. They hit their limit when they are up for the same promotion at work and start to realize their feelings may be different than they think. This one is a little Rated R but I think you'll enjoy this chick-lit novel. It's a fast and easy read.
Wow! This story will grip you from the very beginning. Alice loses her memory for 10 years of her life. She thinks she is happy, in love with her husband, and pregnant with her first child but she quickly learns she is a mother of 3 kids and getting a divorce. Go on the journey with her as she tries to piece together these lost years. This was my 2nd book to read by Liane Moriarty and one that will not be quickly forgotten!
Those are the six book reviews I have for you today! All these were a WIN for me!
I already have several more to share with you next month and am starting a new book tonight! If you have any suggestions of what I should read next, leave me a comment! I'd love to hear from you!
Happy Friday Eve, friends!
